Chris Burns has quickly emerged as an expert in new construction condo sales, real estate development opportunities, and marketing luxury single family homes in Washington, D.C. and Maryland. He has sold over $225 million dollars in real estate since 2013, all while building his business servicing a wide range of clients. Chris' clientele have characterized his approach as detail-oriented and aggressive, and he takes pride in his ability to negotiate creative solutions in a competitive market. Chris is also the principal of CB Development LLC, a company that has developed several residential projects for sale and that is currently active in growing its rental portfolio. Chris' clients benefit from his extensive investment experience and the off-market opportunities that this company methodically sources throughout the area. Chris is also a go-to resource for properties that are subject to tenant issues and Washington, D.C.'s Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act (TOPA). He is fully versed in TOPA / tenant negotiation strategy and the procedure of the law, and has successfully represented landlords, buyers, tenants, and developers alike in 125+ transactions involving these complex laws and processes. After graduating cum-laude from Colgate University, Chris spent a year playing and studying the sport of cricket in India. Prior to becoming a real estate entrepreneur, Chris was a well-known DJ and music producer, and has released numerous original compositions and remixes on national and international record labels. Chris is also an avid tennis player, enthusiast of contemporary art and architecture, and streetwear. He currently lives in Chevy Chase (DC) with his wife, three daughters, and their beloved Maine Coon cat.
