Christine Caton Murphy grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She has followed several career paths before real estate including technical recruiting in the DoD arena as well as a marketing consultant for one of the premier delivery/shipping firms. Christine found her niche in real estate in 1989 when she relocated from the Washington, DC metropolitan area to the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
Christine’s segue into real estate and entrepreneurship can be traced to her Virginia roots. Her grandfather was a Real Estate Broker as well as the owner of a General Store in Virginia Beach for many years. This provided her with an appreciation for owning her own business as well as possessing a strong work ethic. It was this early influence that sparked Christine’s fascination with the world of real estate and construction and laid the foundation for her future career path.
For the past 35 years, she has been involved in marketing, consulting, customer service, and property management with a strong focus on new construction primarily in resort communities. Her experience as a real estate agent, designer, and Marketing and Construction Consultant, has equipped her with invaluable skills in negotiation, organization, logistics, and problem-solving; skills that seamlessly translate into her work. She has dedicated herself to providing the highest quality of service and integrity to her clients and customers. Christine possesses great enthusiasm for helping folks identify and secure a new home or build the home of their dreams.
Christine’s love of architecture, art, and design adds a unique dimension to her approach as a real estate professional. Her diverse background, including living in various locations such as Atlanta, Dallas, and Washington, DC provides her with a broad perspective on the housing market and the needs of her clients.
Her affinity for animals is evident in her household where she lives with her beloved one-year Labradoodle, Callie, and two kitties, Oreo and Maddox.
Outside of work, Christine enjoys pursuing diverse interests and exploring the local arts and crafts scene. She is an avid music enthusiast and delights in occasionally attending live events.
Christine’s commitment to serving her community extends beyond her professional endeavors.
She actively contributes to and volunteers for her Church and presently serves as Senior Warden on the Vestry of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Jenkins Bridge.
