Description

Born and raised in Illinois, I earned a bachelors degree in Psychology from the Unversity of Colorado, and in 1973 moved to Santa Fe. I have invested in Real Estate for over thirty years becoming a Realtor in 1983, and a broker in 1996. As a Tano Road homeowner and a member of the Board of Directors of the Tano Road Asociation, I have long focused on growth and planning issues. I also acted as a mentor for local high school students, helping them make informed career choices. But, my true love is breeding and showing my miniature poodles who are three-time award winners at Westminster! Areas of Expertise After twenty five years in Santa Fe real estate, I try to focus on Northwest and Northeast parts of town, since I am most familiar with these areas. Having built or remodeled three homes, I can give both buyer and seller the benefits of my personal knowledge and experience. I also have a great depth of experience with Northern New Mexico rural and ranching properties and the issues unique to them, particularly water and irrigation rights. Mission Statement Sometimes, a purchase or a sale will have a lucky star; everything will be effortless and wonderful, and we will all be friends for life. The truth is, behind that effortlessness, there is a whole lot of work. Fortunately for my client, I am the one that is doing that work. I consider myself a good listener, and a good matchmaker, and that is a great start but after all my years in this business, I have learned to leave nothing to chance. I have become a real problem-solver, with fine attention to detail. I offer my clients a heightened awareness of their needs, blended with a close familiarity with this area. My challenge and my fulfillment is to hear my clients say, "This is it"! "This is what we are looking for". And sometimes we are all friends for life. Why I Love Santa Fe There is something European about Santa Fe. It is perhaps the most cosmopolitan small town you will ever find, with the cultural resources and resturants you would might expect of a city ten times its size. I have watched the city grow and change over the last 25 years, and while everybody always grumbles about the growth and change, truthfully, I love it even more. Santa Fe welcomes you with open arms, and you find yourself giving of yourself in return. There is really nowhere else like it, and I feel blessed to be here.Best Advice to Clients Explore, ask question, look around and look again.

Description

Steeped in history and Santa Fe style, the main Santa Fe office is known as the Padre Gallegos house. As a historically contributing structure, it was named for Padre Jose Manuel Gallegos, a colorful and controversial priest and politician, and was built around 1857. In addition to being a chapel and an art gallery, it also housed soldiers and government officials during the Civil War. The protected courtyard features sunny luncheons in summer produced by an award winning local restaurant. As the third largest fine art market in the US, Santa Fe is full of galleries and museums in historical compounds such as the main office.
