As a life-long resident of Oklahoma City, Matt Vaughan has had a front row seat to the incredible growth that the metro has experienced in the last 3 decades. After earning a degree in English Literary and Cultural Studies in 2013 he began work as a high school english teacher while working for the Oklahoma City Thunder. After 4 years of teaching and 7 seasons with the Thunder, Matt began work with The Wheeler District, a thoughtfully designed community development in Oklahoma City that features a range of housing options for clients who want a newly constructed home closely connected to the urban core. During this time Matt received a vast amount of experience and insight into the new construction industry which translated seamlessly to full-time traditional real estate. Throughout his time at Wheeler, Matt worked with dozens of clients on the purchase and construction of their new homes before jumping in with both feet in June of 2020 to broaden his horizons in traditional luxury real estate. In the years following he successfully fused his experience and insight into the Oklahoma City real estate market with his desire to provide high-quality, hyper-local expertise, even earning his Oklahoma Real Estate Broker's License in 2022. Matt views every day as another opportunity to offer the benefits of that knowledgable expertise, curated partnerships, and unwavering passion for service to his growing clientele. Matt has been married for 14 years to his wife Kaylea, who serves the Oklahoma real estate industry as a Mortgage Loan Originator. Together, they have three children and two dogs and live in a 112 year-old home in urban OKC's beautiful Mesta Park.
