Cindy Marcum has a long history in the Washington, DC area. She carved lifelong relationships throughout her upbringing and into her professional life, with this, she gained valuable skills that have helped her excel in creating every aspect of a successful business.
Having grown up in the Vienna region of Northern Virginia, she watched the vast development changes turn into what they are today. Her mother, a longtime real estate agent, inspired her quest to always be honest, lead with integrity, give back to her community and provide the best customer service to everyone. Her clients have praised her attention to detail, proactive assertiveness, knowledge about their needs and wants, and a reminder to always be positive.
Cindy attended Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. Here, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science. Continuing to establish her networks, she was actively involved in her sorority, Sigma Sigma Sigma. This is where she became a leader in various opportunities, and organizations, including president of her sorority. Prior to going back to her real estate roots in 1994, she was a distinguished flight attendant with American Airlines for 14 years with her flights being based out of New York City. This experience paved the way for sharpening and excelling in clear communication, empathy, and having a detail-oriented mindset. Throughout all her travels, she gained valuable connections around the world.
Throughout her time as a Realtor® she achieved the distinction as a Northern Virginia Association of Realtors Lifetime Top Producer. As a Certified Relocation Specialist and a selected member of the Allied Athlete Group, she has provided high-quality services to many professional athletes from all different sports. With her love of historic homes, she has received the Historic Preservation designation, a very high value award.
Giving back to her community in an essential part of her life. She has supported groups such as the Robbie Page Memorial Fund organization that provide grants and scholarship to students, support play therapy programs, and libraries for hospitalized children. Currently, she is the president of her HOA in Vienna and an active member of the Vienna Business Association plus a member/volunteer of the Vienna Historical Society.
She and her husband, Robert, who is a local structural civil engineer assists Cindy when needed on the field. They have two Golden Doodles, Sophie and Katie, who love their long walks. Traveling to Europe is always on their yearly to-do list. Some of her favorite countries include the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Netherlands, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Switzerland, and Denmark.
