Kandy Hale Maberry was raised in the close-knit community of Graham, TX. She attended Texas Christian University, where she earned her BFA in Art Education. She was a member of the Tri Delta sorority and on the TCU Showgirls pom squad. Kandy then finished her higher education with a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from Vermont College. Her love for combining her passion for art and her fascination with people into her daily work was a natural fit for real estate. In 1994, Kandy made her foray into the Dallas real estate market, starting as an assistant to a well-known agent. She quickly obtained her license and became an art and design specialist, helping stage homes for sale. Her dedication and learning spirit led her to work for two other prominent Dallas brokers, further expanding her knowledge and skills in the business. In 2001, Kandy moved to Fort Worth with her architect husband and family and continued her pursuit of residential real estate sales by working for a recognized local firm. While in Fort Worth, she was an active member of the Junior League of Fort Worth, the Modern Art Museum, and the First United Methodist Church. In 2005, the Maberry family moved west to Graham, where Kandy chased other dreams by managing a fashion company, owning an art gallery, and teaching in the Graham public school system. Six years ago, Kandy and her family returned to the West Fort Worth/Aledo area, where she returned to her true passion for selling real estate. Kandy and her husband Matt have two children, 24 and 21. Their daughter attends The Charleston School of Law, and their son is on the Ole Miss track and field team. Kandy's commitment to community work is a testament to her character. She has been a staunch supporter of local organizations, served on numerous boards, coached children’s sports, and been actively involved in church activities. Her association with Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty has opened new avenues to serve her clients through global marketing opportunities and networking connections. Her years in real estate have honed her quick wit, math mind, and attention to detail.
