Though born and raised in the Bay Area, I grew up spending holidays on the Big Island, so when my husband’s job in hotel management gave us the opportunity to move here in early 2014, it was an easy decision. Now, I’m grateful to call the Big Island my home and to raise my family here. The warmth, authenticity, and spirit of this place are like no other.
Prior to joining Sotheby’s International Realty, I was an executive recruiter with one of the world’s most prestigious executive search firms Russell Reynolds Associates, and later leading my own consultancy. In both of these positions, I focused specifically on c-level executive (i.e. CEO, COO, CFO) and board of directors’ recruitment across multiple industry sectors, including Fortune 50 companies. Working with sophisticated clients and candidates to bring my searches to a successful close has taught me to ask the right questions, really listen to understand my clients’ needs, creatively problem solve, and negotiate tirelessly for my clients -- all of which serve as the foundation for my work in real estate.
I earned a BA in English Literature from Wheaton College in Massachusetts, after which I was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to Iceland (2004-2005 academic year) by the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking and spending time with my husband and three children. I look forward to speaking with you to learn how we can make your Big Island dream a reality!
