Cynthia Perry first became a real estate agent in Orlando in 1996 when she was newly married with a child on the way and her husband was in business for himself. Realizing a part-time career in real estate just wouldn't work, she embraced her career in the travel industry and first discovered the Emerald Coast while visiting travel agencies and fell in love with the area and its beaches. Cynthia rose up the ranks in her career to executive positions with two major travel insurance companies before joining Marriott International where she enjoyed traveling the world, learning different cultures and making lifelong friendships around the globe. Working closely with luxury hotel brands and travel companies gave Cynthia a strong understanding of the luxury market and the service that a luxury customer expects.
Cynthia is a University of Georgia graduate and an avid football fan. Excited to return to real estate, she joined Scenic Sotheby's International Realty for its well-established brand and global network and believes her role in real estate is one of an advisor and collaborator rather than a transactional agent. She strives to be approachable, maintain her sense of humor and build strong relationships with her clients.
With her two children grown, Cynthia and her husband moved to Destin in 2018, a place the family visited every summer, to join her brother and his family who had moved to Destin years ago. Despite traveling all over the world, she calls the Emerald Coast "her favorite beach" and always looks forward to coming home.
In her free time, Cynthia volunteers with her church and Tourism Cares, a nonprofit association supporting the tourism industry, as well as helps her friends and family plan their next dream vacation. Cynthia enjoys family time at the beach or on the water and loves building sandcastles, paddleboarding, kite surfing and boating.
