She is also a co-founder of the Cartecay River Experience, a kayaking and tubing business catering to local tourism, and loves introducing clients to the magic of the North Georgia mountains. Her experience as a local business owner gives her a deep understanding of the challenges of that world, driving her passion for supporting area businesses. As a partner in the Hill Janssen Group, she has facilitated countless moves throughout Ellijay, Blue Ridge, Jasper and the surrounding areas and delivers an unparalleled real estate experience backed by the global resources of Mountain Sotheby’s International Realty. Working with people in a creative setting is where Jenny shines brightest. After establishing a background in hospitality management as the food and beverage director of a large casino, her career path led from studies in art and English at Fordham University to Sotheby’s auction house. Her involvement with leading figures in the New York real estate and hotel sectors led her to first become interested in real estate while aiding in a major home sale on Martha’s Vineyard. After relocating to Ellijay, she decided to channel her eye for design and passion for client care into a successful real estate career. Known for her boundless energy, hands-on approach to staging and dedication to client satisfaction, Jenny excels at guiding her clients through every step of a real estate journey with confidence, whether buying or selling. Her ability to envision a property’s potential, paired with a talent for negotiation, ensures her clients achieve their goals. An Ellijay resident for 15+ years, Jenny finds multiple ways to cultivate meaningful connections within the community and give back to the place she calls home. A dedicated mom, friend and new grandmother, she loves supporting her children’s education and finding ways to be involved in local animal rescue. She is also a proud member of the Gilmer County Chamber of Commerce. Though Ellijay will always be home, she is grateful to be part of a large family spread across the U.S. and Europe and has traveled extensively. When not working with clients, she loves putting her creativity to work in her own home projects, gardening or creating memories with family and friends.
