Mark Ehrli is a native New Yorker who moved with his family from Manhattan to Washington D.C., as a teenager. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Mark has worked in many different roles in the restaurant and hospitality industry throughout his extensive career. In 1991, he became associated with Planet Hollywood and Earl Enterprises when he opened and ran Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's acclaimed Santa Monica restaurant, Schatzi on Main. From there, he went on to open and run the Planet Hollywood restaurants in Beverly Hills and Myrtle Beach before moving his family to Orlando in 1999 and taking the helm at the flagship restaurant at Walt Disney World. His unwavering commitment to building trusting relationships and to delivering a memorable and exceptional guest experience has defined his personal and professional life.
In addition to his expertise in the restaurant and hospitality industry, Mark, who speaks conversational German, has been involved in residential real estate for over 25 years. A licensed Florida REALTOR® since 2005, Mark is thrilled to partner with the New Smyrna Beach office of Premier Sotheby's International Realty as a global real estate advisor.
On a personal note, Mark has also been a prolific fundraiser for the Children's Tumor Foundation for the past 30 years. He hosts an annual golf event at Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club and Lodge that has raised more than $875,000 over the past 22 years. Mark and his lovely wife of 41 years, Dr. Hannah Ehrli, live in the Bethune Beach neighborhood of New Smyrna Beach, and they have two remarkable grown children, Isabel and Joe.
