Dan has 12 years of experience as a successful real estate agent and real estate investor in the Lexington real estate market and surrounding counties. Born and raised outside of New York City in the suburbs of New Jersey, educated at Emory University in Atlanta and The University of Kentucky in Lexington, and employed in Hollywood, California, Dan has lived in very diverse places and interacted with an incredible variety of people. His life experiences and love of learning along with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and sense of humor make him the right agent for buyers, sellers and investors alike.
In addition to a great familiarity with the single-family home market, he is knowledgeable and experienced in identifying and pursing residential investment properties in Downtown, Chevy Chase, Kenwick, Ashland Park, Montclair, Seven Parks and Southland neighborhoods. He believes buying and selling real estate can and should be enjoyable, and his primary goal is to provide buyers and sellers with the most positive real estate experience possible. Dan performs meticulous research, firmly negotiates in an ethical manner, and will work hard to make sure his clients are satisfied. Dan believes a good real estate agent, first and foremost, provides clients with a high level of trust and comfort.
Dan became a stay-at-home dad after earning a Master’s Degree in Literature and teaching at the University of Kentucky from 1998-2004. When his girls were born in 2005 and 2007, he and his wife were living in Southern California. Caring for and raising two little girls was the most rewarding and challenging experience of his life. Upon moving back to Lexington in 2008, Dan became interested in real estate after reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and Buy and Hold. He enjoys reading American History and novels, traveling with his family, camping, hiking, skiing, competing in Triathlons and a beer with good friends.
