Highly motivated and goal-oriented, Carla Ocasio joins the Winter Park office of Premier Sotheby's International Realty following a successful career in medical operations management. As she embarks on a new career as a real estate professional, Carla hopes to positively impact the life of every person she meets with her deep passion for assisting others. Carla is a member of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association.
In her previous position, Carla led a large team as the regional manager of operations for a healthcare facility. During her 13-year tenure with the company, she directed and developed a team of 50 people, generating new business and facilitating major implementation projects. A true survivor, Carla grew up in The Bronx, New York, overcoming many obstacles but determined to forge her own path. Her childhood taught her to be adaptable, and as she began to network and advocate for herself, she gained many professional accolades in her previous career.
The first and only member of her family to graduate from college, Carla holds an associate degree in health services administration from Keiser University in Ft. Lauderdale. She loves all genres of music, making do-it-yourself craft projects in her free time and exploring new restaurants. Carla is also an active member of her church, where she is part of the worship team and leads a youth group for middle and high schoolers. A former foster parent, Carla is still in touch with several of the young women she once cared for, unofficially serving as a mentor as they navigate adulthood.
