Description
Danielle is a native to the Adirondacks. She was born and raised in the Plattsburgh, NY area. Danielle graduated from Seton Catholic Central & Plattsburgh State University earning a Bachelor’s of Social Work and a Master’s of Science in Community and Mental Health Counseling. She moved out west to the Lake Tahoe area while attending the University of Nevada, Reno where she completed Ph.D. coursework in counseling and Educational Psychology. She enjoyed the Sierra Nevada foothills but was eager to get back to the place she calls home in the Adirondack Mountains. Danielle has been in private practice as a LMHC & NCC, with Lake City Counseling for the past 17 hrs. Danielle has taught at both the local university and community college in the sociology department. She has also served the local community by Independent consultations in stress management and conflict resolution, as well as providing wellness coaching. Danielle has served on a number of fundraising committees and local family student associations. Within the last couple years, Danielle founded the Adeline Foundation, which collaborates with Healing Grace & CVPH to collect donated wedding dresses and recycle them into Angel gowns for families of infant loss. Danielle has a genuine passion for helping others and making a difference in their lives. She also has an enthusiasm and interest for real estate, architecture and design, having bought several homes of her own over the years and renovating them herself. Danielle does not shy away from challenges and is quite intensely focused on getting things done. She loves to connect with others, hear their stories, meet them where they are at and help them achieve their goals! Whether it’s coaching and helping in the office to meet the needs of her clients, or connecting in the community, her passion and genuine empathy for helping others in the community and society are evident by her friendly, tenacious, compassionate communication and active listening skills. Danielle loves to travel, spend time with her 3 children and grandchildren, being on the lake and spending times outdoors. In her free time, she enjoys home renovation projects, music, art, reading and is always up for learning something new. Danielle is super excited to bridge her career and experience as a counselor and coach to the real estate world, helping clients reach their goals by taking the next step on their journey of finding the right house to make their home!
