Ryan Christiansen is a leading sales agent offering professional expertise and years of direct experience serving clients across Northern Utah—including both Weber and Davis counties, with an emphasis on the Ogden Valley area and local ski communities. Ryan was born and raised in Northern Utah; his knowledge of the local area, lifestyle and activities have proven invaluable to his clients seeking guidance. Recently Ryan and his business partner, Kent Phippen merged their successful real estate brokerage, MTN & MAIN Real Estate with the global Sotheby’s International Realty brand by joining Utah-based luxury brokerage, Summit Sotheby’s International Realty in the spring of 2023.
An exciting transition, this new affiliation has allowed Ryan and his team to further elevate their 5-star customer service-based reputation to new levels by aligning with the power and reach of the global Sotheby’s brand. Summit Sotheby’s International Realty provides every single property and client with the award-winning services of an in-house marketing and advertising agency. Ryan’s reputation for client care and work ethic are second to none—his ability to successfully network, fostering new and lasting relationships, has become a powerful asset to his career. In 2022, Ryan and Kent’s small but powerful brokerage transacted over $54 Million in sales. Ryan’s experience building a brokerage over the past seven years while handling hundreds of transactions sets him apart; he offers an outstanding foundation in property marketing, negotiation, contract knowledge, and client experience management. With each transaction, his interest and knowledge has grown—today Ryan has become an awarded and well-regarded real estate professional and Broker. Prior to Ryan’s success in real estate, he built a foundation in business after obtaining a degree in business administration with an emphasis in Marketing. During this time frame he entered the world of planning, designing and executing experiential running events, including the Ragnar Relay Series. This would shape Ryan as a person, an entrepreneur, and eventually as a real estate professional. He met Kent Phippen during his lengthy tenure in the event industry, and there they created a deep and lasting friendship and respect for one another. In the summer of 2016, Ryan started his career in real estate sales as a solo agent. During his first year, he closed an amazing 24 deals (18 deals over the average agent) and was named Rookie of the Year for Keller Williams in Northern Utah. In 2017 Kent joined him, and together they began to build the foundation for their own brokerage. Now entering his seventh year as an agent and sixth year partnered with Kent Phippen, Ryan has built a client base that is 100% referral-based. Prior to their merge with Summit SIR, MTN & MAIN Real Estate quickly became a top 20% brokerage in Northern Utah—with both founders being named a ‘Top 250’ agent in Northern Utah, helping hundreds of clients while selling over $100 Million in real estate.
Ryan’s not just a real estate professional, but is a lover of his family, friends and the great outdoors. When he is not working with clients, he loves spending time with his three adorable daughters and his beautiful wife, RaShae. Together they enjoy outdoor adventures and cruising in their 1971 VW bus. In his free time, you can find Ryan enjoying all that Utah has to offer while out trail running, biking, fly fishing on the local rivers, or at one of Utah’s many ski resorts.
