If you had told me when I was volunteering in Uganda that I would end up living in Birmingham and selling real estate with my mom, I would have thought you were crazy! As it turns out, my mom and I are a pretty incredible team, each bringing certain strengths to the table that allow us to meet the needs of our clients.
Over the years, I have had many different jobs. With each one, I have gained certain traits that have shaped the way I do business today. As a student at Savannah College of Art and Design, I learned discipline, diligence and how to hone my creativity. As a waitress, I learned patience, appreciation and time management. As a vet tech, I learned compassion and efficiency. I also learned that I couldn't bring every stray home! ;) When my open mind and sense of adventure led me to Uganda to work for a non-profit, I learned many things -- but mostly empathy, gratitude and resourcefulness. These life experiences have enabled me to develop a successful and very much enjoyable career in real estate.
When I am not working, I enjoy music, cooking, exercising and being outdoors. My wonderful family, friends and my three beautiful rescue dogs keep me happy :)
