Gretchen was born in upstate New York and as a child moved to Minnesota where she has lived ever since. She met her husband of 26 years after graduating from Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. They have been blessed with 4 children. Their oldest son lives in Hastings, 2 daughters call Charleston South Carolina home and their youngest son is a senior in high school. Gretchen's love of homes, remodeling and residential construction drew her to a career in real estate. Having lived in various areas throughout the Twin Cities, Gretchen has expert knowledge and personal experience to best serve her clients. As a self-proclaimed 'homebody' Gretchen believes her client's homes are their castles, no matter the location or price. When not advising her clients on real estate, Gretchen spends time with her family enjoying an active life in the river valley with their English Golden Retriever, Nash and time in the low country around the Charleston area. She has just started restoring their 1872 Greek Revival home in Marine on St. Croix.
