A Staten Island native, Ellen Mazzucco was a charter member of the Vitale Sunshine real estate company where she was instrumental in the agency's growth from infancy to the most productive real estate company on Staten Island and a leader in the New York Metropolitan Area. Ellen has a diversified background covering real estate as a certified residential appraiser, sales agent and general manager. She was a teacher in the New York City public and private school systems, a statistician with Goldman Sachs and the executive director of a philanthropic agency.
Ellen's list of professional affiliations includes the National Association of REALTORS®, the New York State Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of Real Estate Appraisers, and the Staten Island Board of REALTORS®. She has been a licensed REALTOR® since 1983, has since been a salesperson in Naples, Florida, and has received numerous accolades for her achievements in the residential sales market.
Deeply rooted in community service, Ellen was the past president of the Staten Island Service Auxiliary, a part of the Staten Island University Hospital, is an active hospital volunteer with patient services, and has been a long-time volunteer in Christ Church of Staten Island. During 1982-1984 she served as chairman of Richmond County's Tri-Centennial Celebration under the borough president of Staten Island. She is an avid golfer and served as the chair of the Women's Golf Association at Richmond County Country Club and as team captain of the Women's Metropolitan Golf Team.
With a love for choral singing, Ellen served as president of the Richmond Choral Society, was a member of the Westminster Choir, and has traveled country-wide with Robert Shaw, director of the Atlanta Symphony, and Sir David Willcocks, acclaimed British music director of Royal St. Albert's Choral group.
Outside of work, Ellen enjoys ballroom dancing along with her husband, William Morgan, who is chair of the Parkinson Association of Southwest Florida and past president of Friends of Artis—Naples. They play golf and work together in a home watch business that supports her real estate services.
Ellen is lucky to have three passions in life: her husband, her family and the friends she has made after more than 40 years in real estate. Her most rewarding experience is turning people's dreams into "SOLD!"
