After completing her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at the University of Hartford, Joely decided to then pursue her love of cooking and baking, by attending the French Culinary Institute in Manhattan. This opened the door that led her starting her custom cake bakery; "Piece O Cake" in 1992. In 1996 she purchased her own building and relocated her business across the street. This purchase, was the event that piqued her interest in Real Estate.
