During Cathy’s 30 year career, she has amassed a record of success that includes over 100 Top Producer titles. The South Central Board of REALTORS recognized her as their first two-time REALTOR of the Year 1997 and 2005. In 2013 and 2014 she was awarded the People’s Choice Award for Best Realtor.
After living in Southern California, London, Italy, Africa, the Middle East, and Houston, Cathy settled with her family in Brenham over thirty years ago. She understands the needs of clients who want to purchase a property on the other side of the Brazos River and those who are relocating to the other side of the ocean. Dedication to the country life and her work for clients buying and selling rural properties, yielded her the honor of serving as Past President two terms of the Texas Chapter of REALTORS Land Institute. She chaired the Realtors Land Institute’s Government Affairs Committee the National Institute, is a founding member and past Director of the Texas Land Brokers Network and has served on the Texas Association of REALTORS Professional Standards Committee for eight years.
Cathy specializes in the south central region of Texas selling more farm and ranch properties between Houston to Austin/San Antonio/Dallas/to the coast. She has experience buying and selling private residences and has participated in the sale of some of the region’s most spectacular farms and ranches. It is not unusual for Cathy to show property in her truck, SUV, on horseback, 4-wheeler, a Polaris and if the need arises, a helicopter. She establishes a lasting partnership with her buyers and sellers that continues after closing. Each transaction blossoms into being a friend, neighbor and guide. She is especially proud of the dozens of individuals and families who have trusted her to manage their real estate transactions multiple times.
Cathy volunteers with charities to help ensure that Washington County and surrounding areas are better places to live and work. A dedicated mother and grandmother, Cathy says the best advice she ever received was to “be honest and love my work”. She embraces Faith, Family, Friends, and Fun as her standby.
