Jorge Chavez was born in Honduras and raised in the U.S. After 22 years living and working in the U.S. Jorge returned to his home country to reconnect with his roots and to live the laid back lifestyle in Roatan.
This experience of moving to Roatan from the U.S has allowed him to relate to his clients and understand what they are looking for and the support they need when moving to a new country because he’s been there too.
Jorge has been an active Roatan Realtor for 15 years. He knows how the island of Roatan has been moving forward and understands the real estate market trends. Jorge’s background also includes sales, home building and project management. With this experience he can provide his clients with extra insight in their search for the perfect vacation or relocation home – without having to worry about hidden construction costs or issues.
Jorge currently serves on the board of directors for the Honduras Real Estate Association. He is Roa tan’s only real estate agent with the certification provided by the National Association of Realtors: Resort and Second Home Property Specialist . That experience allows him to help his clients make the right investment. He is certified specifically to help buyers with the purchase of a resort or second home in Roatan. He continually strives to educate himself.
