Karlene Weg, Estate Agent at Wish Sotheby's International Realty in Sherman Oaks, has been representing residential buyers and sellers throughout Encino, Sherman Oaks and Brentwood since 1998. Making people feel comfortable and at ease during what is often the most stressful and important purchase of their life is what Karlene specializes in. Karlene is famous for saying, "I specialize in you, the Client" ... it is her undivided attention that they value most. Deeply committed to representing her clients with integrity, excellence and enthusiasm, she draws on her leadership strengths, extensive local connections, in-depth knowledge of the local market and great people skills to gain rewarding outcomes for them. Before receiving her real estate license, Karlene worked as the Assistant Office Administrator in charge of 85 agents for a high-end boutique in Brentwood and Beverly Hills. Prior to that, she spent nine years running an architectural/contractor firm in Santa Monica. Karlene has always loved the real estate industry and it is the opportunity to work with many different people that inspire her each day. She adores helping clients find the perfect home that surpasses their initial expectations. Raised and currently living in Encino, Karlene is incredibly familiar with the San Fernando Valley's ins and outs. Karlene loves the easy access Encino and Sherman Oaks provide to both the Westside and the Valley. She also adores the warm summer nights and the wonderful community feeling of Encino and Sherman Oaks. With one 22 year old son who is a Cornell Graduate and currently in law school and a daughter, 19 who is a sophomore at Cornell University, Karlene is the Western Region Chairman for the Cornell University Parents Fund and on The Cornell University Library Council. In addition, she is the current Chair of the Ways and Means Development Committee at University Synagogue in Brentwood. As a successful Estate Agent and dedicated wife and mother, Karlene is a busy woman, but she has always found time for traveling, needlepoint and knitting.
