Victoria Cherry-Stacy is a sixth-generation Floridian and has been a resident for over twenty years. She attended school in Northern Ireland (her heritage) and Fort Lauderdale, where many of her family members live. Her family’s background in estate valuations and liquidations which gave Ms. Cherry - Stacy the experience to help clients determine the values of their fine arts, antiques, and personal properties. This field led her to her current career in real estate.
Ms. Stacy is a licensed Real Estate Agent with Sotheby’s and has helped sellers and buyers with their homes in the Space Coast (Brevard and Indian River counties). Because she is an active member and homeowner in Melbourne Beach, she understands the value of beachside homes and has helped clients list their properties to receive multiple offers, and top-dollar in a reasonable time frame. Ms. Stacy’s approach to sales is hands-on with assisting clients to acquire inspections, appraisals, and a network of local service providers and contractors. Many of her clients appreciate her tenacity in ensuring that problems are solved and focused on the progress of the sale. She’s there for the process from the start to when the ink dries and even beyond when the sale is done.
Recently, Ms. Stacy acquired an investment of a multifamily property, in which she was involved with the remodeling and the nuances involved with conversion into a short rental property. This experience helps guide her clients to determine what would be the highest and best use and value for their property.
Her knowledge and licenses also include being a Certified Probate expert, which is beneficial for clients who are involved with properties that are tied to trusts and legal matters. This technical type of real estate requires knowledge beyond normal home sales. Ms. Stacy is able and equipped to help those who struggle with selling properties that have more than a financial impact.
As a mother of three beautiful children, she manages to tackle many roles as a mom but finds time for philanthropy work. Ms. Stacy is a member of DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), an organization that her family is proudly a part of. Her other past roles include Senior President of the Children of the American Revolution Captain John Barry Society (CAR), a boy scout leader to her son’s troop, and volunteering with the Melbourne Avian Sanctuary and Rescue.
When asked what motivates her, she replied, “I love my job because it is more than a job; I get to meet and work with people and help them make their dreams come true. It is always rewarding when sellers are happy about getting the most out of the sale or when buyers move into their new homes. Every sale and situation are different, and that is what makes my work exciting.”
