Description
I am originally from the Midwest, and I fell in love with Georgia when passing through on one of my many trips with my husband. We happily became a statistic by deciding that we were tired of the cold northern winters and journeyed south to lay down roots among the oak trees and history of Savannah. I segued from my original studies of fashion design, in which I hold a B.F.A., into the fascinating world of architecture and real estate thanks in part to the unique Historic District of downtown Savannah.
I have been serving Savannah and the surrounding area since 2013. With my background in both design and customer service, I enjoy the opportunity to embrace my focus on helping others while working with one of the leading real estate firms serving the Savannah area. I understand that buying or selling a home is one of the most significant decisions a person will make in his or her lifetime. Nothing is too trivial to discuss nor is any question too silly to ask when it comes to such an important experience. I care about my clients and want them to not only be comfortable but to enjoy the process as well.
Combining passion, organization, and an eye for design, I help clients realize their real estate goals. Whether it’s selling the current house to upgrade to a dream home or guiding a first-time homebuyer through the process, clients can count on me to take a personal interest and be there for every step of the journey. I feel fortunate to have found a place with a top local company where I am encouraged to focus on the most important aspect of my career in real estate — my relationship with my customers and the community.
Q. What's something interesting that we might not tell from looking, but that would surprise us!?
A. I have eight brothers and sisters and we all get along!
Q. What is your favorite restaurant in the area and why?
A. There are so many great restaurants in Savannah. My husband and I love 'appetizer hopping' where we sit at a bar for a drink and a snack then move on to another place. We'll go to several places a night when we do this. Some of our favorites are Bistro 45 (best beef carpaccio in town!), Jazz'd, Alligator Soul, Rancho Alegre, Alley Cat (drinks only) and Lulu's (for dessert!)
Q. Can you tell us a story about one of your most interesting transactions?
A. I was helping first time home buyers find their dream house, before the days of online signatures. They had one child and the wife was pregnant with their second. We found a wonderful house for them but as we were in the middle of negotiating the wife went into labor! We had to put things on hold for a day or so but they wanted to keep moving forward because they loved the house and did not want to miss this chance. So I got to visit them in the hospital to see their brand new baby while they signed paperwork and I picked up their earnest money check! It all worked out, they got the house and I am still in touch with them to this day.
