Description
A Greenwich native who knows the ins and outs of the local market, Beau Chmiel offers his clients well-rounded real estate expertise. With a background in architecture, a lifelong passion for Greenwich real estate, and plenty of personal experience (he has lived in 23 different homes in his life), Beau truly understands what a buyer or seller needs.
By taking a hands-on approach and putting himself in his clients’ shoes, Beau ensures that their needs and best interests are at the forefront of each transaction. Combining this with his depth of local knowledge, Beau delivers sound guidance on the value of a potential investment.
Beau is currently a member of the Barre Ehrlich Zuckert Team which ranks in the top 1.5% of real estate teams nationwide. The team services clients throughout Connecticut, New York, and Florida, while providing sales, design, and development expertise. With real estate transactions totaling $60 million, Beau has a deep understanding of how to approach each deal.
Beau was previously a member of the Louise Phillips Forbes Team, one of the top teams at Brown Harris Stevens and in New York City. During this time, he worked alongside the power broker—who was named the Residential Broker of the Year in 2020 by the Real Estate Board of New York—and managed over $112 million worth of real estate. Beau gleaned an array of critical skills and experiences during this time, from working one-on-one with buyers to managing detailed analysis and handling social media marketing—all of which he leverages now as an independent agent.
Prior to entering real estate as an agent, Beau worked at Charles Hilton Architects in Greenwich, where he gained invaluable knowledge that he uses to help his clients with renovation or construction goals. He also has a degree in architecture from The Catholic University of America. Whether a client is looking to completely transform a property or make minor alterations, Beau’s architectural expertise serves as a valuable asset.
Beau is a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art and The Greenwich Historical Society. Outside of real estate, he is passionate about cars and enjoys spending time with his friends in Greenwich and New York City. In the summer, he spends his free time with his extended family in Fenwick, Connecticut.
