Description
Michelle Davis is a fourth generation Texan who was born and raised in Houston. She attended Southern Methodist University majoring in real estate and finance.
Michelle transitioned into residential real estate after a thirty-year career in the commercial real estate industry where she focused on marketing and promoting commercial properties valued at over $3 billion across the United States. She also served as the marketing director for The Staubach Company (now JLL) where she led the national corporate marketing and communication efforts for over forty offices and worked directly with company CEO, Roger Staubach, to evaluate and leverage his strategic business engagements. Michelle brings the same marketing expertise and business acumen to her residential clients, utilizing a disciplined approach to meet the needs of each customer.
Michelle loves spending weekends at her family ranch where they raise registered and commercial cattle. She also loves traveling, cooking, walking in Dallas or hiking in the mountains—especially Wyoming, Idaho and Colorado. She is a real foodie and loves dining out and exploring new restaurants. Michelle is a mom to two 20-something children who attended Highland Park Schools and are college alumni of Clemson University and Texas Christian University. Her daughter graduated law school at Washington & Lee University in Virginia, and is a law associate. Michelle is also mom to a 100-pound French Mastiff named Clementine. She and her husband, Jimmy, currently live in Greenway Parks and have lived in other neighborhoods in Dallas including University Park, Preston Hollow and Lakewood.
Since 2016, Michelle has served as a member of Highland Park Independent School District’s Design and Construction Committee for its $360 million bond initiative which focused on rebuilding or redeveloping the district’s five elementary schools, middle school and high school. She has been active in Tri Delta’s local Dallas alumni chapter, where she was a member of the committee that built the new Tri Delta house at SMU in 2013. She currently serves as President of the Tri Delta House Corporation Board at SMU.
