Betsy Dunigan is best known for two things, her love of sales and skiing. Her career started in winter ski and sports apparel, as the first woman representative of Beconta Inc., culminating with a 16-year career as the NYC based East Coast Representative for Bogner Ski Wear, a renowned German ski, golf and sportswear company catering exclusively to the finest ski and sportswear stores in America. Betsy knows a thing or two about luxury on and off the slopes. After a prosperous career honing her skills in sales, Betsy began her journey in real estate, joining O’Connor, Piper and Flynn as they transitioned to Coldwell Banker on Church Circle. For more than 20 years, she has helped her clients buy and sell in Anne Arundel County. Between spending summers cruising the Chesapeake Bay and raising her family in Annapolis. Betsy knows the area inside and out. She says, “I just love selling in general, whether it’s beautiful clothing, beautiful destinations like Annapolis, or the beautiful homes that our coastal area offers.” With over $200 million in sales under her belt, Betsy knew her next move would be joining the ranks at TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, which she calls a privilege. Betsy’s clients know her as an enthusiastic, compassionate, and determined friend. She has a vision and always directs her clients in ways that suit their best interest. “I try not to impose my opinion but will always give it should I feel the property is a bad investment,” she says, “I encourage buyers to look at properties they might not have, if I think it has possibilities for them. It is an education, and they often buy something they never would have considered.” When listing a property, Betsy knows the ins and outs of putting a home in the best showing condition. Her guidance combined with her negotiation skills get her clients top dollar for their home, every time. Betsy’s approach to buying and selling is what brings her clients back, and why they continually refer her to others. It is not unusual for her to sell multiple homes to one family and then later sell their children, their siblings or their friends’ homes as well. When Betsy isn’t showing property, she spends her time with her husband cruising the Chesapeake and off road jeeping at events up and down the East Coast. Her love of Welsh Springer Spaniels is well known and rivals the love of her 3 little grandsons.
