Born in Bar Harbor and raised in Somesville, Nicole has spent much of her life exploring the unique beauty and allure of Mount Desert Island and surrounding coastal Maine. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University San Marcos and graduated Magna Cum Laude before transitioning to a successful career in hospitality sales and marketing.
After traveling and living in many coastal areas from around the world, including San Diego, St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands and New Zealand, Nicole made her way back to MDI with a clear understanding of why this area of Maine is a draw to so many. She built her own home on MDI in 2011 with her husband Kyle, a local contractor, and is enjoying raising her two children in the same small-town community that she was raised.
Nicole spent many years training in the highest level of customer service, guiding her clients through the intense process of booking, planning and executing their weddings. Helping people find happiness is her passion, and she discovered that real estate was a natural fit for her talent and enthusiasm. Skills like detailed communications, timely response and constant support through a potentially emotional transaction are essential when helping her clients navigate buying or selling in the regional Mount Desert Island market.
Acadia National Park is a magical place and Nicole will never tire of exploring the park. Even though she has been hiking on this island since she was born, she still manages to discover trails that she’s never explored before. She loves the rugged coastline and spending her summer days on the ocean visiting outer islands, catching fish and glimpses of the local wildlife. Most of all, Nicole loves the Maine coast’s diverse towns that each have their own character and together make up a wonderful community to raise her children. Nicole spends her free time exploring Maine with her family, volunteering at the Bar Harbor Food Pantry, hiking, boating to other coastal islands, reading and making jewelry.
