Description

I stay on the outskirts of Wellington with the lovely Betsy and three spirited children aged 10, 15 and 17. We love traveling throughout the Southern African region, generally to remote regions. I play golf to socialise, read biographies for motivation, play a few music instruments to impress the family, and for exercise I bike, canoe and swim.
I am a property consultant with 18 years' involvement in property brokerage and valuations. My field of specialisation is agricultural properties and I have experience over a wide range of farming entities throughout the Southern African region. I love everything about the agricultural property sector: the history and heritage behind the cultivation of our land, its diversity, witnessing potential being unlocked through transformation and modernisation, and the general resilience of the industry and its people, diligently reaching ahead despite several setbacks. One of the perks of my profession is the ability to meet pioneers and industry leaders, the people behind family-owned farms over many generations, foreign investors, young and upcoming farmers, and large commercial farmers.
I am positive about the prospects for the agricultural sector in general and hope to continue along this pathway for as long as I am able make some form of contribution to the industry.
