Description
Nan has had great success as a Toronto realtor for over 36 years and was a top salesperson in her previous company in Vancouver. She attributes much of her success to listening carefully to the needs of her clients in order to design a plan of service specifically for each person. The creativity of marketing homes effectively is a huge part of what Nan loves about the business. Ensuring that everything, including photography, video, the written word and all other sorts of marketing material, has her total attention to quality and detail allows Nan to highlight the unique aspects of each of her clients’ homes, ensuring they are shown in the very best light. By maximizing the appreciation of the exceptional details in each property the best buyers are attracted, and she brings the same attention to detail to all transactions for her buyers.
Having grown up in a small town with inherent friendliness, Nan has found many similarities in Toronto. Though it is a large city, she tends to meet someone she knows wherever she goes. What also makes Toronto such a joy is that it is an amalgamation of unique character-filled neighbourhoods, and finding that special home in the perfect neighbourhood that is the “right fit” for each client is a challenge Nan really enjoys.
However, she knows that real estate transactions can be very stressful. In order to keep her clients calm throughout the process, Nan handles many of the details herself and she works at a pace that works for them – not anyone else. At the end of the process, she wants to know that her clients are pleased with their results and with how smoothly everything went. She is only satisfied with everything when her clients are happy. Nan’s ability to get the best for her clients means that they come back to her time and again and she loves it when repeat clients become friends. See below for comments from clients.
Nan is not only a sales agent but a broker with the background and training to serve you better. In a dynamic city, like Toronto, some of her most pertinent credentials include Luxury Homes Designation and Seniors Real Estate specialists.
Beyond real estate, Nan enjoys skiing, sailing, curling and croquet, but she especially enjoys mental challenges and has recently been taken with the game of Go. It is probably this mental curiosity that makes negotiations so enjoyable and successful for her. She travelled through the US and Europe doing promotion for a musical group, she was a competitive swimmer, she worked with a psychologist who specialized in career guidance and she volunteered at CAMH, The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. She earned her Bachelor of Science from The University of Toronto with a major in psychology.
Nan loves Toronto but knows it is a hard place for many, and she believes in giving back to the community. She has supported many community projects, including sending underprivileged kids to camp, and has started her own initiatives to help those families that might need a helping hand.
Nan is also a member of the Faculty Club, Botanical Gardens, the Toronto Cricket Club and the Rotary Club. As she knows that we need to look after future generations she has just joined an environment group and looks forward to making contributions there.
