For Kelly Savukinas, a native Texan, moving to the west coast in 2005 was a landmark move, but one that she and her husband, Rob have never regretted. Living less than a mile from the ocean they have access to some of the best hiking trails, national parks and beaches. These are just a few of the reasons why they call the Central Coast home. Their three daughters enjoy the coast as well, learning to surf, sail and play in the tide-pools, taking in the natural beauty of the area.
After purchasing a home in Monterey, Kelly found herself still going to open houses on the weekends, tracking interest rates and sales data. She also was playing tour guide to her fellow Texas visitors, showing them where to dine, wine taste, hike, and golf. She frequently wrote weekend itineraries for groups of people visiting the area. Each visit made her realize how lucky she was to live in such an incredible place. Selling the central coast dream seemed like such a natural fit, and she knew the next step was real estate.
Kelly’s unique background includes marketing, design and sales. When living on the east coast, she worked at the Design Center in Washington, DC, where she produced all of the marketing materials and worked with architects and designers. Since moving to the west coast, Kelly has been involved in sales, being the top producer-year after-year in hospitality. The common thread that has led to Kelly’s successful relationship-building is her ability to promptly understand her clients’ needs.
In her spare time, Kelly enjoys being with her family and friends. She likes hiking, wine tasting, hosting parties, hitting golf balls with the kids, sailing and going to the beach. You can also find her in the antique stores and estate sales looking for a great “find” for her home (or for a friend!)
