Description
PHILOSOPHY:
It is true that home is where the heart is, where memories are made and where we grow and experience life. I prioritize understanding your lifestyle, your needs, and your goals for buying your next home or selling one that no longer fits, and then collaborating with you to achieve your desired outcome. I listen, communicate, and use my professionalism, knowledge, and skill to implement and accomplish your individualized plan as a seller or buyer.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Being a Realtor builds upon my extensive background in land use and real estate. As a licensed attorney in NH and Maine since 1993, I have managed many complex and high value real estate and business transactions, and many types of clients. Details, communication and problem-solving are my specialties! Appointed by Governor Hassan and confirmed by NH Executive Council, I also served as a member of NH’s Site Evaluation Committee, assessing the land use, environmental and other impacts of large energy projects such as major transmission lines and power-generating facilities. I have served on Rye’s Zoning Board of Adjustment for over 20 years, including as its chairperson. I also served on Rye’s Planning Board, Plan NH Charrette Committee and Parsonage Apartments Committee. Through this work, I am well versed about property types, building and septic requirements, zoning, and the unique challenges of properties near tidal and wetland areas. Prior to my legal career, I was an Assistant Vice President for a large investment company and a Certified Financial Planner. These experiences enable me to truly understand not just the varied facets of real estate but also of people, and to deliver results for buyers and sellers. They also taught me to listen, respect and appreciate relationships with my clients. I received my J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and my B.A. from Saint Michaels College.
COMMUNITY & PERSONALITY:
I moved to Rye from the Boston area in 1992, lured to the NH Seacoast by my husband, a former technology executive and a fishing charter captain. Together we have raised two great kids, both educated in Rye and Portsmouth schools and doing great in the world. In addition to real estate, my volunteer work as the President of the Friends of Pulpit Rock Tower, for the Town of Rye, Gather and The Music Hall keep me busy. When not working, I can be found outside enjoying our beautiful beaches, gardening, hiking, kayaking, cycling, or skiing.
CLIENT REVIEW:
"Patricia has put together business deals, dealt with historic properties, evaluated land uses, bought and sold properties and led land use boards - all with great calmness, kindness, and integrity. She is a true professional!"
