John began his career in real estate in 1974 after graduating from USC’s Marshall School of Business in Finance. Earning his broker’s license in 1976, he spent several decades in all facets of the industry from sales to owning and operating several successful brokerages in the beach communities.
As a 40-year resident of both Long Beach and the Peninsula Point area of Newport Beach, John has extensive experience in the coastal communities from Newport Beach to the South Bay area.
Having been in the business for many decades, John is partnered with Vista Sotheby’s International Realty where a history of integrity and for providing unmatched marketing support and services is key to John’s client’s success. This alliance allows John to offer unrivaled marketing and media opportunities backed by the world’s most trusted real estate brand.
John’s time outside of work is spent volunteering in several local organizations. He has served as Past Chairman of the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency, Past President of the Long Beach Rotary Club, past Chairman of the Board of the YMCA, and Past Chairman of the Long Beach Civil Service Commission. John and his wife Candy have been married for 46 years, raised two successful children, and currently have six grandchildren. He can often be found enjoying all of the outdoor activities his communities offer his family as well as playing golf at Virginia Country club with his friends and family.
