Agency Gustave White Sotheby's International Realty

Description

Originally from Barrington, Rhode Island, Bridget grew up around her family’s real estate business. She attended Lincoln School in Providence and earned a BA from Hobart William Smith College in 1996 with a major in Political Science and Economics. After a short career in investment banking with Chase Manhattan, she found herself drawn back to real estate. Bridget began her career in 2001 while living on the Main Line Philadelphia, working for Prudential Fox and Roach. Although new to the area, she earned several “Circle of Excellence” sales awards and was recognized as rookie of the year in 2001 averaging a sales volume of $4 million per year.
In 2005, she and her husband returned to Rhode Island and purchased a home in Portsmouth. Bridget pursued new construction sales and was hired by O’Neill Properties Group to work onsite at The Carnegie Abbey Club (now The Aquidneck Club). Shortly thereafter, she opened her own real estate brokerage and was hired by the developer of The Villages on Mt. Hope Bay to close out the 35 remaining available luxury homes. Working through a tough real estate recession and other challenges, Bridget was able to maintain a steady sales pace at the Villages closing over $235,000,000 in new construction and resale condominiums in the past fifteen years and representing roughly 350 clients on their home sale and/or purchase. She was significantly involved in both the sale of the development rights in 2014 to Peregrine Group, and with the design of the two new model residences that have completed development. Outside of The Villages, Bridget regularly represents clients in Portsmouth, Middletown, Tiverton, Bristol, and Little Compton. In the past fifteen years, she has been the highest producing agent in Tiverton, Rhode Island, and among the top eleven in Newport County averaging nearly $30 million in sales.
Outside of the real estate world, you will find Bridget on the water off of the Sakonnet Yacht Club, playing tennis at the historic Newport Tennis Hall of Fame and The Aquidneck Club, or on the polo field at Newport International Polo Series. She and her family also enjoy skiing in Stowe, Vermont. Bridget lives in Little Compton with her husband, Ted; their daughters, Teghan and Piper; six horses (Cookie, Gus, Clifford, Chilli, Abby, and Ella); and their dog, Lula. Bridget joined Gustave White Sotheby's Int'l Realty in 2019 and manages the Tiverton office located at historic Tiverton Four Corners.
