Originally from Kansas, The Village sales associate Mimi Markel found a second home in sunny Naples, where she's owned a condo in The Lutgert Companies trendy Terraces at Park Shore high-rise since 2014. She relocated to Naples full time in early 2019, bringing nearly 25 years of experience as a real estate professional to Premier Sotheby's International Realty.
It was in her hometown that Mimi first embarked on her career as a REALTOR® in 1998, selling residential properties in Kansas City. After more than 20 years in the industry, Mimi took a break from real estate and opened a Lilly Pulitzer Signature Shop, a resort chic lifestyle brand. Operating a retail clothing store for seven years gave her a unique perspective on how to successfully deliver customer fulfillment in all aspects of business. She often opened her shop after-hours for those who sought extra service, and built exceptional relationships as a result of her willingness to go the extra mile. Today, she translates that retail experience into a similar approach in delivering customer fulfillment – a higher state than customer satisfaction – to the Naples residential market.

A graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, Mimi holds a Bachelor of Arts in organizational communications, and also completed iconic interior designer Carleton Varney's School of Decorating. Having remodeled and flipped four homes in 2007 alone, she understands the importance of staging and design when it comes to selling a home. Mimi is a member of the Kansas Association of REALTORS®, the Naples Area Board of REALTORS®, and the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program. The mother of four grown children, Mimi enjoys walking, swimming, playing tennis and consignment shopping in her spare time.
