Description
Raised in Marco Island and Sarasota, Winter Park sales associate Jacqueline Hughes now calls Orlando home. She's well-acquainted with the different districts and neighborhoods, and welcomes the opportunity to help you find the home that is the right fit for you and your family. Jacqueline treats the sale or purchase of each property as if it were her own, and is dedicated to personalizing a plan that is unique to each of her customers, equipping them with the knowledge necessary to feel empowered in their decisions.
Jacqueline holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Central Florida. For 14 years, she worked as a RN, primarily in hospice, advocating for patients and their families. Yet real estate has long been an interest and passion of hers. She's been a property manager of an investment condominium since 2008, focusing on budget management, customer service and maintenance. In 2017, she designed and managed a renovation of the condominium. Falling in love with the process, Jacqueline designed and served as the project manager on a full renovation of a three-story, three-bedroom townhouse the following year, completing ahead of schedule by one week.
She became a licensed real estate professional in 2018, joining the National Association of REALTORS®, Florida REALTORS® and the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association. Jacqueline has received the Gold Key Certification for Excellence in Professionalism, and completed classes in Negotiating Skills for the Real Estate Professional, a REALTORS® guide to investor financing, and the ABC's of the Comparative Market Analysis.
Analytical by nature and highly trained in critical thinking, coupled with her excellent understanding of the real estate market, makes Jacqueline a great negotiator. She's also extremely organized, personable and creative, which helps her assist customers with seeing potential in their space.
In her free time, Jacqueline enjoys attending Orlando Magic games with her family as season ticket holders. She loves traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures, as well as remaining local and enjoying the different restaurants Orlando has to offer. Jacqueline stays active by attending regular barre classes, running and biking. Giving back to her community is also very important to her, as Jacqueline volunteers with multiple local nonprofit and school organizations, and currently serves as leader of the welcome team at Reach Orlando Church.
