Kathryn Vallee is a second-generation real estate professional with Summit Sotheby’s International Realty in Park City, Utah with over 21 years of first-hand experience in the real estate industry. Originally from Tucson, Arizona and raised in a family of real estate investors where she learned the benefits of real estate investments at a young age, Kathryn is fond of saying “real estate is my second language”. A licensed real estate agent since 2001, now based in Utah’s beautiful Wasatch Mountains where she raised her family, Kathryn serves Summit County and the surrounding areas, specializing in residential buying and selling with an emphasis on marketing properties as well as consulting with clients for investing purposes.
Prior to entering the world of real estate, Kathryn received her BS degree in Interpersonal Communications, allowing her the ability to be well prepared, actively listen, collaborate well with others, effectively negotiate and problem solve – all while maintaining the highest degree of integrity. Her energy, knowledge, and decades-long experience grant Kathryn an elevated standard of excellence that is not often seen in the industry. Her ability to hone-in on the right place or property for each client often means delving into a myriad of complex details (for buyer and/or seller), all while maintaining communication throughout the process and lowering the stress factor in what is typically a major life decision for families.
Kathryn is passionate about continuing her education and has received additional certifications and designations over the years in addition to being recognized for her sales performance in selling luxury homes in Utah and Arizona. Kathryn is a Top Tier Realtor/Innovator Award recipient, a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist™, and she has also been a Guild Member on the executive council for her brokerage. Kathryn holds her CLHMS (Certified Luxury Home Specialist Designation).

Prior to real estate Kathryn spent time as a professional fiber artist designing hand-woven wearable art for juried art shows and prominent galleries across the US. She volunteered with the Victim Witness Crisis Team providing help and advocacy for victims of violent crimes and today she volunteers with Habitat for Humanity. When she’s not excelling in Utah’s fast-paced and competitive real estate industry, Kathryn spends her time throwing clay on a wheel as a form of mindfulness meditation and creative expression. She enjoys spending time with her family and training her Portuguese Waterdog in agility, obedience, and therapy service work. Kathryn loves sharing Utah’s incredible outdoor lifestyle with her clients, family and friends, living and playing in Utah’s Wasatch mountains.
