Prior to joining Sotheby's International Realty, Kamali was with commercial brokerage firm, Cushman & Wakefield. It was that experience that sparked her love of real estate. However, it is her unique experience of having become a mother at a young age which provided her with a sense that she can do anything, but most importantly, do it with a sense of humor. Her professional, yet gentle approach results in clients who, even during the most difficult of transactions, are reassured by Kamali’s take-charge attitude.
Kamali holds a degree in Marketing Management from Baruch College, which she earned while honing her sales and marketing experience as a sales assistant with WLNY-TV and WCBS-TV.
A native New Yorker, Kamali raised her two children in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, before they made the choice to attend University in Lugano, Switzerland. Fluent in English and Spanish, Kamali is an avid traveler who has also lived in her native Dominican Republic, as well as in Japan. She also plays a key role with the New York City organization, Literacy Partners and is an enthusiast of independent film, music of all genres and fitness.
