Paul Scharf joined Premier Sotheby's International Realty in 2018 as a sales associate. He is a native Floridian born in Miami and he moved to the Tampa Bay area with his family in 1974. Paul has been active in Florida real estate for over four decades having owned, built and leased several Florida properties. Paul lives in south Tampa in Beach Park and enjoys a second home in Naples.
He spent over 34 years with TECO Energy, an Emera company. During his tenure with TECO, Paul held a variety of leadership and labor positions within the energy supply division. Positions included senior journeyman, project manager of TECO's ocean shipping division and operator of fossil fuel unloading and storage. Paul also holds a coast guard certification for ship welding and was the head of electrical safety for Big Bend Station.
Giving back to his community has always been very important to Paul. He has been very active in both Tampa and Naples with a number of charitable organizations and is very supportive of many causes, including cancer, humanitarian assistance and the arts.
He is a co-angler on ESPN Bassmaster's tour. Paul also enjoys boating, golfing and recreational biking. He and his wife, Lisa, have four children.
Paul is a member of the Greater Tampa Association of REALTORS®.
