Sandpoint has been a second home to my family for the past 28 years. Now, it has become our primary home with the sell of our Spokane family home. Twenty eight years ago, my wife and I drove up to Schweitzer in the late fall to check out the rental market. After an afternoon of touring condos we left Schweitzer with an offer extended for the purchase of a small, 434 foot Alpine Condominium! We loved our Alpine unit. The fun we had! But, with the births of Parker and Hayley, we opted to almost double our square footage and upsize to a Snowdrift Condo unit. Again, that condo was magical as we spent nearly every weekend in the winter and many in the summer exploring Schweitzer on skis and foot. And, the lake was our backyard in the summer. Eight years ago, my brothers and I sold our 103 year old family business in Spokane. That sparked a desire to make the move to prepare for a primary home at Schweitzer, leading to our customizing the interior of a 2400 sq ft new construction condo at Granite Peaks. More space led to us likely having the best Christmas tree on the Mountain! But, then again, we thought every tree Charlie Brown or not was the best ever at Schweitzer! Additionally, at those three condos, I served as the President of the Condo Associations. With retirement at 50, I became an active member of many boards at Schweitzer and ultimately, a Schweitzer employee as a volunteer Mountain Host. Yes – I proudly wear the ‘yellow jacket', because with a family business that not only survived for over a hundred years but sold on a very high note, I learned from my teen age years the value of excellent customer service. And, I am passionate about making Schweitzer a great investment, a great place to live, and most importantly … a great place to build lasting family memories. I'm enthused to bring my firsthand knowledge of Schweitzer and my passion for the Sandpoint community to real estate. With my strong sales, relationship building and customer service skills, I'm eager to help you sell your home or property … or find that new place to create long lasting memories.
