Armed with years of negotiation practice, vast local market knowledge, and refined analytical skills, Mona approaches every deal with the client’s best interests being her top priority. Mona is a partner of The Doug and Mona Group. The group was founded in 2022, after Mona Banes and Doug Richards decided to combine their talents and years of expertise, to provide an unrivaled customer experience while achieving exceptional results. Mona is a strong believer in giving back to her community, and was awarded one of the Town of Vienna’s Mayor Volunteer Recognition awards. Mona currently resides in McLean with her husband, Adam, a practicing attorney, and their children, Rayan and Elliana. When she is not working, Mona loves to cook and try new recipes from various cultures. One of her passions is entertaining her friends and family in her home. She is an avid runner and appreciates the world of interior decorating, which comes in handy when advising clients on renovations and decorating.
