After earning a degree in radio/television from Southern Illinois University, I worked in the film industry and then for AMC Theatres in management and marketing. I have always been interested in architecture and design, so a career change into real estate was a natural fit. Although born in Ibiza, Spain, I grew up in the San Fernando Valley, lived in the Playa Del Rey/Westchester area for 15 years, and now reside in Redondo Beach. I am married with two children - both college graduates currently living in New York City. My home is still full taking care of two rescue dogs and two rescue cats. I volunteer at the animal shelter and enjoy movies, talking walks, going on driving vacations, and spending time with friends at our Big Bear cabin.
What would you like potential clients to know about you?
I’m hard-working and listen to my clients so that I can meet their needs. They appreciate my dedication, loyalty, and honesty. A funny thing happens on the way to helping my clients sell or purchase a home – most end up being good friends!
Who is your typical client?
After being in the business over 18 years, my clients range from first-time buyers who are young professionals or have growing families, to baby boomers downsizing and simplifying their lives. I also work with clients who have inherited properties they need to sell as well as investors who want to buy and hold or fix and flip. For clients moving or selling out of state or country, I can provide referrals to a real estate agent in most areas of the world.
In what ways do you provide top-notch service to your clients?
By being accessible, answering my phone, and personally involved with every aspect of the transaction. Buying or selling a home can be exciting but also extremely stressful, and I always make myself available to my clients, and keep the lines of communication open any time they need, which brings great comfort during each step of the transaction. My top-notch service includes being detail-oriented, persistent, enthusiastic, and always putting my clients’ needs first.
What keeps you interested in real estate?
I enjoy viewing all different types of homes and bringing ideas to my clients to help them visualize what their new home can be in the future. I love helping my clients close one door and open a new chapter in their lives. The challenge of finding the right home or negotiating a good deal for either a buyer or seller keeps me engaged. The best thing about real estate is connecting with so many wonderful people and making new friends for life.
In which area of real estate do you specialize?
Residential sales (single-family homes, condos, townhomes, and 1-4 units). Because I’m familiar with the South Bay, Westside, Los Angeles, and San Fernando Valley, I am able to extend my services to accommodate buyers or sellers in multiple areas and still provide exceptional knowledge and service. I’m also involved in the niche market of finding, remodeling, and re-selling updated homes. In addition, I am now an ADU specialist. I can help guide clients with their ADU questions as well as share my invaluable experience personally building four ADUs.
