Ben was born in Missouri and raised as a youngster in Frankfurt, Germany while his father served in the Army. After returning to the US, graduated high school in the Ozark mountains in Arkansas. Remembering the Alps from his youth, his passion for the mountains brought him out West for college at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. This opened doors for him to become a technical rock climber, mountaineer, boater and Alpine/backcountry/Nordic skier. After graduation, searching for the best undeveloped ski resort that had a lifetime of opportunity, Ben found Big Sky.While pursuing his love of the outdoors he met his wife Ariane in 1999 at Big Sky. In 2000, Ben began his real estate career learning ways to add value to Buyers and Sellers lives throughout the whole transaction. While working to build a successful real estate career, and a solid foundation with Ariane traveling together to over a dozen countries climbing, skiing and scuba diving they decided start a family in 2005. They now have two wonderful children. Orrin age 13 and Chloe age 11, who was actually born in the truck on the side of highway 191 racing to Bozeman from Big Sky. Healthy lifestyle, family values and honesty have laid a great foundation for finding happiness in an isolated small ski town that the Colemans are proud to be actively involved with. This foundation will help us be successful in our transactions. Ariane is the proud designer/owner of Ari O Jewelry located in down town Big Sky.Ben listens and puts the same serious focus towards his clients needs as he would to climbing in the Tetons or Yosemite. Using this focus, has allowed Ben to consistently be a top producer at Big Sky Sothebys International Realty. His knowledge of the Big Sky market and relationships built over time with the real estate community helps in every step of the process. Ben enjoys getting out of Big Sky vicariously by listening to his clients past stories and dreams.
