He has participated in more than 640 real estate transactions...and counting! Steve is a 1972 marketing graduate of the University of Kentucky. He formed his homeowner association and has served as a Director/Officer in that organization since 1984. He has served in numerous positions on the local Board of Realtors including Treasurer, Director, Professional Standards, MLS Committee and the Chairperson of the Technology Committee. Steve has twice been honored by his peers as the Steamboat Springs Realtor of the Year in 1991 and 2008. Most recently, he received the inaugural Distinguished Contributor Award for 2017/2018 from the local Board of Realtors. Steve earned inclusion in the Steamboat Sotheby's International Realty Circle of Excellence in 2015 and 2016 and the Pinnacle Award in 2017 and 2018. Steve first obtained the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation in 1990. This designation is earned by less than 4% of all Realtors nationwide. Steve maintains a commitment to all phases of continuing education in our industry and the highest standards for Ethical Conduct. Steve and his wife, Pinky, enjoy camping, cross country/back country skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, gardening and travel. Steve is a Life Member of the National Eagle Scout Association, having earned his Eagle Scout rank in 1967.
