Daria McLean is an integral member of the Gibson Sotheby's International Realty team out of our Back Bay office. Daria was recognized as a Top Producer by Boston Magazine in 2023, and Real Trends where she was ranked in the top 1.5% of realtors by individual volume out of 1.6 million realtors.
She entered the field of real estate sales after a successful career in high-profile positions in fundraising, special events and television, working with high net-worth donors, celebrities and corporate leaders in Boston and New York. The diversity and broad range of contacts she has made, and her extensive business, marketing and social networking skills make her highly effective in transactions with discerning buyers and sellers in the luxury real estate market in Boston. Having lived in the Boston area for over twenty-five years, she has an intimate knowledge of Greater Boston, its special people, places and things that make Boston such an incredible place to live. Daria is dedicated to helping her customers refine and achieve their goals. Whether a first-time buyer, seasoned investor or empty nester, Daria will give them her time, attention and loyalty, building lasting relationships.
Prior to real estate, Daria was the Director of Development at The Boston Public Library (BPL) Foundation raising funds for the BPL and 26 neighborhood branches. She worked closely with BPL Trustees, Board of Directors, major donors and government officials. Prior to the BPL Foundation, she consulted with non-profit and for-profit organizations including CitiBank, The Catered Affair and Boston Lyric Opera. She also served as the Development Special Events Coordinator at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) in Boston for many years where she coordinated all the fundraising events for BWH in Boston as well as launching all the BWH fundraising activities in Palm Beach. In New York, she worked on two award-winning television shows, music videos and commercials.
Daria has served on the Board of Trustees for the 56 unit condominium complex where she lives in Boston's Back Bay. She was directly involved in the building's recent $1.2 million dollar restoration. Her knowledge of Boston and the surrounding suburbs is extensive due to her professional, civic and social involvement in the community. Daria is an active member of the Longwood Cricket Club in Chestnut Hill, MA, and the Quin Club. Boston, MA. Other organizations where Daria has made a commitment to include Brigham & Women's Hospital/MA General Hospital, Skidmore College, The Charlesgate Alliance, Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay, Boston and the Animal Rescue League of Boston. She is also a member of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. Daria earned a B.A. from Skidmore College. Daria is licensed in MA and Florida.
