Description
A life long resident of New London, Margie has lived on Lake Sunapee her entire life as has her family dating back to 1927. It is this intimate familiarity with Lake Sunapee living that gives her an insider's perspective on this highly desirable lifestyle.
Margie has an extensive real estate career having entered the profession in 1986 after a career in music management and concert promotion which included world tours with such acclaimed acts as Aerosmith and The J. Geils Band. She became a broker in 1988 and has been recognized as a top producer in 32 of her 33 years in the business. Margie has effected a number of significant sales including multi-million dollar transactions on Lake Sunapee. In addition to lake front property, Margie also enjoys selling farms, antique homes and vacation properties throughout the area.
Margie is a people-person with an innate ability to really listen to her clients. She's a great strategist who is able to come up with unique solutions to difficult problems. She is tenacious and believes that there is an answer to every problem and will not stop until she finds the solution. Her goal is to have everyone walk away from the table feeling that they were treated fairly and got the best deal possible.
On a personal level her passions include architectural and interior design having attended Chamberlayne School of Design in Boston. She credits this experience with the ability to "paint the picture" for her clients enabling them to visualize how the house will fit their needs. Additionally she enjoys such diverse interests as photography, cooking, alternative medicine, yoga, cross country skiing, kayaking, linguistics (she enjoys Italian), pottery, and golf. It's also not uncommon to see Margie out walking her two adorable dogs, Gigi and Otis, throughout the Lake Sunapee region.
