Description
Known for her results orientation and keen negotiating skills, Christie-Anne Weiss is the consummate, client-centered professional. She began her real estate career in 1983 after completing an MBA at Columbia University, an AB with honors at Duke University and a C.E.P. degree at l'Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris, France. At the start, she specialized in multi-unit rental housing transactions, where strong analytical skills and knowledge of DC landlord and tenants' rights laws helped her carve a niche practice. After developing a portfolio of investors, Mrs. Weiss expanded into residential real estate. In 2012, she and Christopher Ritzert, a longtime trusted colleague, formed Ritzert Weiss Partners (RWP) and joined TTR Sotheby’s International Realty. Since then, the team has led, achieving top producing status and regional recognition every year. Today, Christie-Anne and Christopher represent clients with a wide range of real estate goals. Listings and sales range from Virginia Hunt Country farms and estates to urban luxury condominiums. Mrs. Weiss is widely respected and admired for her integrity, pursuit of excellence and tireless energy Outside of real estate, Christie-Anne devotes significant time to arts and education initiatives that currently include a U.S. Director position for Shakespeare's Globe Centre London. She is a former Board Chair of Teach For America DC/VA and has led numerous galas and auctions. She is a passionate horseback rider, gardener, and reader. Christie-Anne and her husband of 42 years, Jeff Weiss, have four grown children and three irresistible grandchildren.
