Laurel Cecila is the Chief Marketing Officer at Callaway Henderson Sotheby’s International Realty. She joined N.T. Callaway Real Estate in 2005 as a sales associate, licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and has sold residential real estate for 19+ years. She was appointed to her current role in 2015. As CMO, Laurel is responsible for managing the company’s marketing platform, corporate communications, advertising, and social media. She serves as the liaison for the brand and works extensively with the firm’s agents and managers to promote both their listings and themselves. After graduating from Stanford, Laurel moved to Princeton for a fabulous job opportunity with Merrill Lynch, thinking her relocation was 'just for a couple of years'... Three decades later, she still hasn't looked back! She fell in love with the area, living in a few different parts of Mercer County before eventually settling in the historic village of Lawrenceville, where she and her husband have learned first-hand what a labor of love owning an older home can be. As a transplanted Californian, Laurel understands the importance of finding the perfect home and neighborhood, and she has a lot to offer those interested in starting a life in the Greater Princeton Area. She prides herself in her ability to truly listen to her buyers' needs and preferences, and intuitively match them with just the right home and community. Her sellers are consistently impressed with her comprehensive approach to pricing, marketing savvy, and skillful negotiating. When it comes to the purchase or sale of a home, she believes there is some truth to the old adage, 'If it's meant to be,...' But she also knows that having the guidance and expertise of a conscientious real estate professional who can respond to your needs and pay close attention to all of the details certainly helps lead fate in the right direction. Prior to beginning her career in real estate, Laurel was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch and Director of Marketing at the Internet start-up, Paytrust.com. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Economics from Stanford University. Laurel has served on the boards of several community and local non-profit organizations, including the Chapin School Parents' Association, Kidsbridge, Lawrenceville Main Street, and The Women's Club of Lawrenceville. She was an active member of the Princeton Day School Parents' Association and an avid "hockey mom." Laurel's experience in sales, marketing, and financial services has uniquely prepared her to successfully guide buyers and sellers through the complexities of a real estate transaction.
