Nancy’s expertise in marketing to high-end clientele has been sought by top developers and architects. Her thoughtful presentation and understanding of the market have led to an impressive record of success. The luxury high rise PARK TOWER, above the PARK HYATT HOTEL, termed “the tower of power” by Crain’s Chicago Business in 2000, was a $400 M development that raised the bar for luxury living in Chicago. She was also instrumental in the success of such high-profile buildings as 340 on the Park, the first LEED-certified residential tower in the Midwest, located in the city’s cultural epicenter. She was sales leader for the award-winning Residences on Lake Shore Park, consisting of 250 East Pearson, 270 East Pearson and 840 North Lake Shore Drive. This new construction development experience enhanced her ability to create and convey value for clients in the for-sale market today. She recently enhanced her practice by representing buyers and sellers on the Northshore with several significant sales. Nancy’s keen understanding of the marketplace has helped clients win top dollar for their properties and increased value relative to the competition. She treats the marketing aspect of the selling process as a business plan, with confidence in her skills in pricing and establishing the value for each property. Buyers find Nancy to be an excellent listener and resourceful professional, able to interpret what matters most to them, identify the best properties for their needs and negotiate the best price on their behalf. Drawing on her extensive experience, she guides clients in navigating all aspects of buying and selling homes. She was identified as a top broker by Crain’s Chicago Business and as “Megabroker of the Midwest” by Unique Homes magazine. Her perspective on the market is sought after by real estate news outlets. Her ideas and expertise have been featured in the real estate pages of the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Magazine, Metro Chicago Real Estate Magazine and The New York Times. Her own residence at 840 North Lake Shore Drive was the cover story in Midwest Home Chicago. And Nancy was asked to host a tour of her home for the popular NBC LXTV Open House program featuring high-styled Chicago city residences. Her segment went on to the New York and LA markets. Ms. Nugent serves on the board of directors of the prestigious The Actors Company Theater (TACT) of New York City, a company of theater artists that reclaim great plays of literary merit for new audiences. She also served on the board of directors of Friends of the Parks, the Chicago parks advocacy group for over 20 years. Here she created the Honoree Program which became the largest single fundraiser for the organization’s social events. Nancy holds an undergraduate degree from The University of Cincinnati in Education and History and a dual Master’s degree in Educational Media and Communications from Xavier University. She is a licensed Illinois Realtor.
