Kim Bender is a native of the Lake George area. After graduating high school she decided to leave New York and move to California. Once there she began to pursue her real estate career and became a licensed sales person in the San Francisco Bay area and is a Certified Negotiation Expert. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Management with high honors from Saint Mary's College in Moraga California. While in California she held various management positions within Pacific Bell's corporate headquarters, which is now known as AT&T. One of Kim's major responsibilities there was overseeing the resolution of the company's corporate wide customer issues. Reporting directly to the corporate officers she successfully managed the development of the first electronic payment system for the telecommunications industry. Some of her other tasks included systems development, marketing operations and banking relationships all which helped her prepare for a successful career as a real estate agent. She also established the company's first Project Management Association. After returning to the Lake George area 21 years ago she has dedicated herself to community involvement. She is the co-founder of an environmental protection organization PROTECT and The Committee for Better Government. She has been active in various efforts to improve our local government and protect the quality and beauty of Lake George while promoting business and residential development. She is a motivated business professional with experience in project management, real estate, business management, community leadership, campaign management, telecommunications training methods and procedures development, local government initiatives, grant writing and environmental protection. Her key strengths include team leadership, organizational skills, project management, issue identification, problem solving, marketing, customer service, planning community outreach and local municipality planning and governance. She is currently a member of the Lake George Association and Pilot Knob Association. Her goal is to assist in achieving a balance between development and protection of the Lake. Her commitment to the work she has done in the community speaks for itself. She is a dedicated professional and is well qualified to meet the clients' real estate needs on a full time basis. This success is reflected in the past 7 years of helping both buyers and sellers obtain their real estate goals.
