Well respected by both her buyers and sellers, as well as her colleagues in the business, she has balanced professionalism with client sensitivity and cements it all together with her down-to-earth style.Her love for the area's natural beauty and concern for its future has prompted her to be very involved in her community. A former Kent Chamber of Commerce President and Kent's Assessment Appeals Chairman, an elected position she held for 15 years, currently Karen is a member of Kent's Planning and Zoning Commission and recently elected as the Vice Chairman. Karen was appointed in January 2024 as a Town of Kent Deputy Registrar. Karen served as Chairman of The Republican Town Commitee Chairman for 3 years in the past. Karen supports area Land Trusts and Libraries and is Mom to a rescue dog named "Honey".A mother of three grown children and grandmother to eight young children, she understands the joy of quality family time and the importance of a home. When she is not on the phone you can find Karen hiking, skiing, or kayaking in some of the quiet scenic spots in the area.
